Golf buggy

    I am considering purchasing a golf buggy for my Dad, as he is getting on a bit and his knee and hip problems are making it very difficult for him to play 18 holes without renting a buggy.

    Does anyone have experience of buying a golf buggy? I know of people who have gone to Northern Ireland to buy one, and I'm familiar with "The Buggy Man" in Kildare who sells them. I'm also giving some consideration to buying one privately, on the likes of donedeal.ie.

    I would be very grateful if anyone could advise on the following:

    1. The best place to buy a golf buggy;
    2. The likely approximate cost of buying a golf buggy; and
    3. The ballpark costs of maintaining a golf buggy (e.g. petrol/charging the battery, servicing, etc).

    Thanks very much, folks. Any advice welcome.
