irish & american citizen but irish resident marrying irish citizen

I am engaged to an Irish citizen who I've been with for 6 years. I am an Irish and American citizen but have been living in Ireland since I was 6. We want to move to America in a year or so and I'm just wondering if we need to apply for a special visa or what avenues we will have to go through to get him into the country.
Wondering if anyone can help me get some information. I'm finding it quite difficult to find straight answers online especially on the u.s. embassy website.

If your parents aren't American citizens, this may have some implications for your citizenship, unless you have that sorted already.

Hi Victor , my mother is an American citizen and I have duel citizenship. But my fiancee has no relatives that are American citizens.

U can apply for a fiancé visa for her. But i think u have to marry her right away once you get to the usa for her to be able to stay longer and apply for a green card.
