Trying to find Mini 1000, 500 CNI

I'm trying to find my mother's old Mini 1000 registered 500 CNI. I'd like to try to buy it back for sentimental reasons. Official channels are unable to help. The car comes up on Motorcheck and Cartell. I believe that it is still in County Wicklow. Has anybody here any information on its whereabouts? I realise it's a long chance, but you never know!

Probably recycled at this stage, lots of cars crushed without log books so will still show up on Cartell

Well the logbook will probably be/is/was sale on DD even if the car isn't still in one piece.

If it's 1980+, Try the nct website to see if it's due, if it's not due it's legal somewhere......

It doesnt seem to have been taxed in a while

you can check any car reg here for car tax and NCT expiry :)
