Assuming 52 paid weeks in a year then €482 per week.

Assuming you're single, have no pension contributions, are full time PRSI, it would be about €480 a week. You can use this calculator to find out.

If you're both working, it will probably change nothing. If you're the only one working, then you would pay less. Using the calculator I linked you can enter the total of both your salaries and find out.

You need to fill in the total of both your salaries as the annual gross, not just yours.

Indeed, because they would also have a PAYE tax credit as well as their personal one.

Don't let anyone tell you that Ireland is not a marriage-friendly country.

Is a 49 hour week not in violation of the working time act ?
