    Hello
I am wondering when leather boots are described as ''Buttero leather'' is that a particular type of leather?

A quick google of the term tells me it is a brand. From a region in Tuscany no less.

That's right. It's also a brand, but it's a type of leather used by Dr. Martens in their boots as well. Someone else has explained that it is glossier and a bit more supple than typical boot leather. Google unfortunately didn't come up with that.
