Can I check if I have penalty points?

I recently moved house and haven't gotten around to changing the registration address on my car. I passed a speed van yesterday and I may have been a little over the limit. I am concerned that the points notice will be sent to my old address and that I won't get it and will end up getting extra points due to non-payment of the fine.
Is there a number that I can call to check if I have been allocated penalty points?
    Thanks in advance....

To find out how many penalty points are on your driving licence record, contact the Road Safety Authority at 1890 41 61 41, quoting your driver licence number. Alternatively, contact your local Motor Tax Office.

Thanks for that. Just a quick clarification, does anybody know if the points notice is sent to the address on the licence, or the address at which the car is registered?

As far as Im aware the points arent applied until you pay the fine, so if you are worried about not getting the notification then its not going to be enough to ring up and check because they wont have been applied if you have not recieved the letter and paid the fine.

    Address on the license

If it's a van the notice will go to the vehicle's registered address.

I would of thought it would go to the licensees address of the owner of the car, regardless of who is driving it, if its a van.

It does not make any difference what type of vehicle it is.
Fines are posted to the name and address printed on the vehicle's registration document.

Yep. It's up to the registered owner of the vehicle to either pay up or inform the bean counters the name and address of the driver.
