Hi, hope im posting this in correct section.my question is, is there a cable I could buy that would connect my Samsung 3 mobile to my samsung tv which allows me to watch downloads, tv channels ect on my tv? Thanks in advance

If the phone supports MHL and you buy the right adapter/cable then it might be possible, have a read of this...

if you use UPC horizon you can download an app called twonk

then you can stream your stuff to the tv...

other than that you can buy a hdmi connector for 15 and that works a treat
