    As the title suggests, What do bands want/need from a modern record label? I am interested in having a discussion around the functions of a modern record label. With the power of the internet and the latest technology, it seems that any artist/band can now become their own record label. However, are many prepared to take on the extra work?

    Isn't it mostly about funding for recording and promotion..contacts and guidance? That's what would interest me in a label.
