Aurora hair band was on dragons den a few months ago and looked pretty good. I've seen it in a few pharmacies since. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if it's any good?

Looks pretty cool. I would be afraid it of it being uncomfortable..even tying my hair up during the day hurts me! Still though, great idea. Wouldn't mind trying it out.

They really need to work on their branding though!

I've tried it. It's comfortable to sleep in, very soft, didn't bother me once.

It recommends 'taking the moisture out of the hair' (not drying it completely) before you do it. I tried it that way and found that the top of my head was very fuzzy (as it is naturally) so I would probably dry the top first. I looked up a few other bands (lots of people on youtube just using hair bands to do it) but they all did their's with dry hair. I'd say freshly washed and dried hair would yield a better result.

You need to wrap it carefully around the band, making sure not to wrap loads of hair together at the nape of the neck, because it will get tangled and stuck! It looked a bit mad when I first took it out but it calmed down a few hours later (just remember you have to tease it out a bit, you don't just whip off the band and have perfectly bouncy hair!) My hair goes fuzzy when I let it dry naturally so I'm definitely going to give it another go with freshly dried hair, which should make it a lot smoother.

Ooh will you report back after your second trial? I know it's new on the market but I like seeing a couple of reviews before purchasing something! Agree with previous poster, their branding and marketing is woeful!

Anybody try this especially those with fair hair? - it looks like a great product but I've purchased so many gimmicks for my hair at this stage.
