Corolla outside door handle

So to start my day today,i locked my keys into my car....in a rush,i pulled off the door handle to get at the release lever for the lock, but broke the handle in half.

Obviously,im going to need to get a handle second hand or even new if i have to...

My question is,how much will this set me back in getting it fitted? The barrel doesnt work on that side anyway,so all ill need is to have it connected to the release for opening the door, not unlocking it.

i just want the new handle for cosmetic reasons and so it wont look like the car is broken into,or tempt anyone to try and open it.

Any help or advice will be very, very much appreciated....Its a 96 corrolla by the way. Thanks

I got some on ebay for a Micra cheap and fitted myself. Can't remember but it was cheap (and it broke again 2 years later).

Head to a breakers, had to replace the barrel lock on my 93 corolla before (but not the handle). Cost maybe a tenner for the barrel lock and key. Summerhill spares often have old corolla parts in stock if you are in Dublin.

I got it sorted lads, picked one up for a fiver on ebay.I was in such a panic after locking the keys in the car yesterday that i convinced myself i had done hundreds of euro worth of damage to it by breaking the handle :) Thanks for the replies.
