    Half price on this tripod here, I don't know anything about tripods myself but am looking to pick one up using with my D3200. Does this look like good value to you?

    €75 for a carbon fibre tripod is good value. Don't like the fixed head it comes with tho, much prefer ball heads.

    Have that one myself, paid the €149 for it early last year, not mad about the head on it, just doesn't compare to a Ball Head, the other thing is , it's not actually a very tall tripod, I have to stoop with it and I'm only 5 7 ish ! It is light though !

    Doctors differ and patients die.. I actually can't stand ball heads and prefer the 3 way type that this (great value) one has !!
    I've tried a couple of types, trigger types and 'locknut' type and just didn't like them at all.

    That's a good price for that Gatame, the only drawback being the height but that's not insurmountable. Might have a look at it tomorrow myself..
