Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Does anyone know if coating the top of connaught agri pipe with layer of straw would help to prevent it clogging with small particles and prolong the life of the system?

    It would do nothing for it, besides you need not worry if its bog soil and you install the pipes correctly making sure the fall on the pipe is correct with no points were water could lodge then it will stay draining through the pipe for years and years to come

    They don't deal well with iron/ochre/whatever you call it, just in case you have it.
