    Lads,
I want to polish up the chrome window trim on my 2010 Audi A4 S-Line - its starting to look a but cloudy for want of a better word.
Can anybody recommend a good polish / Cleaner?

    Cheers

Unfortunately its not chrome. Its a plastic called Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) with a chrome finish.

Cloudiness or marking will occur over time especially when using harsh washing detergents to your car and it cannot be brought back (pH neutral is best). You can hide the cloudiness by applying a thin layer of WD40 to the trim.

I got my window trims replaced under warranty with the dealer a while back (2012).

What is said above is right about how they deteriorate. Though WD40? And have that run down your paintwork??

Id be pretty sure they'd tidy up fairly well if they were washed, clayed and given a bit of a polish. They might not return to perfect but should be presentable.

Ive watched 100's of videos trying to find a solution to this. Not one solution yields results anywhere near what you would expect for the amount of effort you put in.
