I've had my ipad for about a year and the charger isn't working at all. This is after my iphone 4 charger stopped working after a couple of months. I just bought a new iphone charger and don't want to buy a new ipad one. Any advice?

Dunno how you broke the charger for the iPhone 4. I have one of those cables at least 5 years and it works fine.

Have you tried dealz to buy one? They don't last that long but at 1.50 they're an alright shot.

I found not using my phone / ipad while the cable was in extended the life of the cable. No awkward bending etc.

Dunno how they stopped working, the just stopped charging my iphone and ipad. Would a cheap cable fry the ipad?

Is it the charger or cable that's broken?

If it's the charger, get one with a charge rate of 1Amps - 2Amps.
