Many years ago, we planted what I believe is leyland juniper at the end of our garden as a "screen" from the neighbour who backs onto our garden.

They have grown so tall (20') now that they are actually blocking out the sun from the end of the garden, which is south facing.

    I have 3 questions:-

    1) What would be the approximate cost for getting them cut down (I assume stumps are left)

    2) What is the best evergreen tree to replace then with so as to have privacy in our garden and can these be planted as mature trees?

    3) What would the total cost be?
