As with the other post (classmate), I'm doing a project in college, in conjunction with St. Vincent's, but my topic is data mining. Can anyone give me an insight into what areas in medicine this is being applied in Ireland? We're working with one of the labs but naturally want as wide an understanding as possible, and maybe a pointer of who might talk to us about their experience implementing systems -- resistance, value, dangers, success etc.

ok, I'm going to call a halt here before any more of your classmates join us! Boards.ie doesn't permit people using its posters for homework/college/research projects etc if this was allowed the place would be overrun and there'd be no discussion. Thread closed.
