my question is why the hell not andre ward? he gave froch a boxing lesson the last time they fought, i posted it up on facebook and people are saying andre is a level above my answer is THEN YOUR NOT THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!! its what i love about mma the best fight the best the champ doesnt hand pick his victims basically.

Ward is leagues ahead of any fighter in that division but at the end of the day, boxing is a business. Ward simply doesn't have the star attraction that makes the casual fan buy tickets or PPVs, therefore he often gets overlooked. He's much to blame for this himself due to the fact he pretty much refuses to fight outside his home town. He should be gunning to fight every f*cker in Vegas.

He fought him once and came up short. If he doesn't believe he has anything for him, then I'm happy for him to seek high level opponents else where.

Well obviously the UFC is one org, so there's just the one belt. Which is a plus, to many divisions and belts in boxing. Think everyone accepts that.

17 weight divisions, 5 or 6 alphabet belts in each division. The best quote i ever heard about the state of modern boxing is "If everybody is world champion, then no one is".
The prestige is gone, a lot of the best match ups these days are not even for titles, it's just that a couple of top guys are getting it on. There doesn't seem to be a solution to it to be honest though. As said already its all about money now and manipulating there careers to make them look as good as possible.
