Looking for a Muay Thai gym in Dublin. I'm in Artane so the closer the better. The ones I've heard of Lionheart and Wild Geese, and I'm not entirely sure if either are still open.

What Muay Thai gyms are there in Dublin? What ones can you guys recommend / not recommend? I'm interested in flexability of times, facilities and availability of private lessons, Thanks in advance, Anon.

Dublin muay thai is in kilbarrack and has a good reputation but I haven't trained there myself.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at going there but the site hasnt been updated in years and google maps doesnt know about it.

Can anyone tell me about this gym? Also wb the other gyms in Dublin? Are there any benefits / drawbacks to each gym?

I also wanted to learn FMA and/or Krav Maga, if there are gyms that do that.

    Bridgestone Thai - Smithfield

    Dublin Thai - Kilbarrack

    Lionheart - Dublin 1

HammerHead Gym - Dublin 3 Gaelic St

Those are the Thai gyms in North Dublin. Looks like you're between HammerHead and Dublin Thai. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend either. You could give both a go and see which is a better fit for you.

    Best of luck

I just started Muay thai down at the Hammerhead gym, so far i'm loving it there. Great atmosphere and the coach and the other students training there are very easy to get on with!

Would really recommend heading down and checking it out sometime!

I can recommend hammerhead highly aswell. Sound as pound as are all the lads that train with him. Was getting privates with him a while back but fatherhood put an abrupt end to it all!
