    Hi All,

I am currently doing a project in college and am in need of a little help understanding a few things if that's possible.

For any Doctors/Medical Students that might be on here. (Or anyone else who can help really)
    • Do you track what procedures you have completed ?
    • Why do you track it ? (Is it required ?)
    • How is the tracking done ? (Paper/Software(Which?) etc)
    • Is it easily accessible?
    • Do you frequently access this information?

    Thanks !!

I'm not completely sure what you mean by procedures, but essentially the answer is yes.
Why do we track it - as you state, it is requires as subjective evidence of training to progress.
In surgery we use online software ( a log book to log the procedures/surgeries performed)
Elogbook would be the most common.
Yes it is easily accessible by the doctor himself/herself - it's not publically available.
Some people access it frequently some dot but it is required to be produced for annual or biannual assessments.

ok, I'm going to call a halt here before any more of your classmates join us! Boards.ie doesn't permit people using its posters for homework/college/research projects etc if this was allowed the place would be overrun and there'd be no discussion. Thread closed.
