Do 10 spins on your head and knock a pint of your choice back, right as rain.

You get sick and then keep drinking? Maybe it's time to grow up

Just keep going and don't stop. You just find a level and stay there I find. I call it the saturation point.

Why would you want to?

Might be showing my age here  but if I've got to the stage of being sick from drink (and I rarely do, I fall asleep first), I take it as a sign that I might, maybe, just for that one night obviously, have had enough........

Now I feel like my granny.

well i don't mean getting sick because of having drank so much, I mean getting sick after having a bad pint or a shot that didn't agree with you

Get a bottle of non alcoholic beer in a pint pot, looks the real deal.
Tell you friends you are going to "move on to cocktails" but buy mocktails instead.
Failing that a line of white powder will do the trick apparently.

    No I'm afraid not.

You must retreat into the shadows, slink of home and board the next ferry to England and sink into obscurity.

Your life in Ireland is now over, you pathetic light weight.

Last night I dreamed you were drunk again
    Larger than life again
    Beering out tight again

Stay away from shots and stay on the same drink all night. Drink a pint of water before bed and you should not have too bad of a hangover.

The bad pint and the shot that didn't agree with you - they'd be the drank too much drinks. Mind the fresh air as well - can be fierce dangerous.

OP surely you can read such an obvious signal that you've had enough drink for the night? You can still enjoy the rest of your night

No. If you throw up when you've been drinking then it's time to go home. Otherwise you just look like a pathetic alky OP.

    Ah, the mythical 'bad pint'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 133 ✭✭LadyLucinda

It wasn't just me that got a 'bad drink'. I may be a lightweight but I never get sick after just 3 or 4 pints so it must have been it

+1 on this, I've been drinking Gin all night before, grand like. One little snifter of air and I'm floored. They should ban it-lethal stuff altogether.

Oh it's not uncommon to encounter the mythical bad pint.

Whether you've had 2 drinks or 10 drinks, if it's making you sick, then that's enough for the night.

Cut the leg off a pair of tights and pull it over your head. Go out and act like nothing has changed.
