Doing it at the moment, with a splash plate. Rain forecast for Thursday and Friday so it will be well washed in. All the neighbours out doing the same.

Baled on Friday, then put out 1 bag of 25:2.5:5 to the acre then covered it with watery slurry.

problem I have is that if I empty all the tanks on all the ground I have it will be over 6000 gallons an acre and you need some good rain after that

and not emptying them isint an option because there are bulls in side creating more ****e by the week

I sprayed off some ground for reseeding so will try to get rid of the bulk of it there

2000 max all out with in 1-2 days of cutting before greening anything heavier will kill some grass

should put slurry first then follow with fertiliser, not sure what the reason is but this is what the 'experts' say

I've afew ft of slurry in the tank, which I'm planning on getting the contractor to spread as soon as he can get a break from silage (should be later in the week). It was mixed up afew months ago and was lose enough at the time, but hasnt been watered down much in fairness. How much water should I add to the tank now before I mix it up?

Hard to say with out knowing how much slurry is in the tank, but maybe 2 loads of water its no harm to having a little to much water in the slurry than to little especially this time of year.

About 30 or 40k gls, which is around 4ft! 2 loads of my 1100gls tank wont do much ha, I was more thinking about adding in another 1/2 a ft of water?
