Spinning....

I'm a weekend cyclist, not the fittest, it has to be said, recently heading out with a mate who is training for triathlon. I get left for dead on hills mostly but all in all he slows down for me, so, while he's on holiday tubbing-up :) I decided to try and get a bit better (mostly for the hills really), so not able to get out as often, thought I'd try a spin class at the gym (first ever :) ), humiliation, as expected  but knackered after it.

Since then, Spotify Spin playlists and alone in the spin area has been the norm. Getting there slowly, finding fitness increasing but I have to confess, when it gets tough, the usual, ah-feck-it nagging creeps in and I can't seem to get my stamina over 35 minutes, just seems to overwhelm me and I stop..

Questions are really, I assume its all gonna be worth it ? (not been out since) and any advice on getting the stamina up and stopping the gremlins ?

    Thanks

    FBP.

Keep at it. Tis great after a few month's when you still get that nagging feeling but dig in and the legs respond. It won't be long till your waiting for him on the hills.
