Hi lads, I'd be interested to hear what you all think of Wiz Khalifa?

He's personally one of my favourites, though I much preferred his older stuff. I feel he has stagnated a bit in recent times and I'm at a point where I like about half of his newly released work as opposed to almost all of it in the past. Case in point would be the new 28 Grams mixtape. Maybe it's him trying to appeal more to the masses (commercial), getting lazy, or just having nothing fresh left to talk about, or even a combination of all of the above.

There's still very few rappers I'd choose to listen to over Wiz if I just want to kick back, relax and turn my speakers up though

I was a big fan, now I like some of his stuff. He just ran out of things to say really, and hit beats are more hit and miss.

How Fly mixtape with Curren$y, Burn After Rolling, Cabin Fever and especially Kush and OJ would be mixtapes I go back to regularly, but not a fan of his albums at all.

When he first appeared on my radar, I thought that there were big things ahead for him. But I think that his kind of celebrity status got in the way of him making decent music.
Basically, nothing has come close to his first mixtape, and listening to anything new by him doesn't really interest me.
