Hi I was wondering if anyone has any opinions in what would be a good club to join around Dublin that has a good middle distance coach/group? I won't be getting crazy times or anything but would prefer that type of training rather than out and out long distance training that a lot of the clubs seem to have a lot of. Thanks in advance

Whereabouts in Dublin? And roughly what sort of times would you be aiming for? Most clubs would have some few middle distance male athletes in a range the likes of 1.55 to 2.10, above 2.10 it does tend to be a lot more hit and miss in terms of finding constant people to train with. Your best bet might be simply to contact your local clubs and ask them straight out do they have anyone close to your target times who you can train with, most clubs will be straight up honest with you as they know there is no point trying to suck you in if they can't cater for you.
