Galway cycle routes?

I should be moving to Galway in the next couple of months and I'm just wondering is there any good cycling routes in the city or lengthy cycle paths?

As you're cycling for sport/exercise I'm bumping this over to Cycling so thread can stay focused.
You'll find some routes on www.galwaycycling.org and www.westcoastwheelers.com

A pretty good one is to head out to Moycullen and then across to Spiddal and back. There are sections where it'll be tight with cars but generally it will allow pretty easy cycling.
