Hi any advice on which ferry would be better for a trip to UK in September. One of our party not a big fan of sea travel. Which if any would be more stable? Anyone tried their Stena Plus or Club Class?

Every year I travel over to uk to see my folks using Irish ferries cruise ferry. Always have a cabin booked for myself and my wife and child..sometimes I book a single and get an upgrade. They certainly ain't the ritz but at least we don't have to try and find a seat that is taken up by someone who treats it like a bed and has a lie down for a sleep. Bring a packed lunch and save € from on board silly prices for food and drink. The piece and quiet and a smooth crossing is what we always have. If the seas do get a bit rough it's amazing how better you will feel lying down on a bed. You don't feel it as much.

Both ships are very stable theres not much between them. I prefer Stena they have a far better product with Stena Plus than IF have with their club class. Better drinks and snacks all round and I find the prices lower than IF. I also find Irish Ferries to be a bit overcrowded at times especially during day salings. Id go stena all the way and usually you can find a discount code online too to bring down the price. If you got kids theres a kids club and little play area onboard with curious geroge. Plus a very comfortable TV longue. On Irish Ferries when I ordered food i had to stand and wait for it. On Stena they asked me where we were sitting and dropped it down freshly cooked. I find the staff far more friendly and willing to help on Stena than on Irish Ferries.

The Stena boat leaves Holyhead before the Irish Ferries one so when you get back to Dublin your ahead of the traffic another advantage in my book.

Thanks guys, must look into Stena online discount codes and compare both.
