    Hi guys,

Stuck up my new Triax TD 110 yesterday and while I can get a great signal on say PrimaTV on 45E when I come west say to CNN International on 30W I only get approx 75%,

I'm presuming it should be better, and I can get it slightly better but then 45E goes down a bit,

In the middle of the arc at 0.8w I can get Aljazeera English at 88%,

Pole seems plumb,as best as my eyesight can read a level lol,and I'm using a black ultra inverto LNB,

So anything obvious you think I'm may be missing?

    Regards

I posted this strongest transponder list for the West a few weeks back. I must get round to doing the East.

% readings don't mean much as they vary from one receiver to the next. My Dr HD receiver gives readings in dB, 18 dB would be 100% on my AzBox and some tp's on 28 East hit the max 20dB on the Dr HD.

CNN on 11811 on 30 West is 16.2 dB with me slightly stronger today than Al Jazeera and Sky News on 1 West 15.5 dB. My strongest tp on 30 West is still 12092 V 16.8 dB. I have the same dish and LNB as you. Sorry I can't offer any advice on how to set it up, I got mine done by a professional installer.

    In dB then ;)

    CNN on 30w = 11.5dB
    Sky News 0.8w = 14.5dB
    PrimaTV on 45E = 14.4dB

I seem to be a good bit off on the west side anyway

Prima 16.4 dB here. 11517 V 2960 is slightly stronger 17 dB. Maybe dB readings vary on different receivers, I don't know. 17 dB is 99% on my AzBox. I think I can get the dB reading from that as well but now just now.

CNN Int on my 80cm 30W prime focus is SNR 85%.

On my 1.2m (with same LNB as OP) it's SNR 100%.
