    Help needed!

For maths paper one, apart from this stuff is there any stuff that needs to be learned off (ie any other non intuitive maths stuff )

    Average value in integration
Constructions of root 2 and root 3
Proof by contradiction/proof root 2 is irrational
    Types of functions
Proving de Moivres theorem for positive and negative numbers by induction
Using de Moivres theorem to prove trig identities

    Anything I'm missing?

Don't think your missing anything. Isn't proof by contradiction paper 2?

I was ill when my class did proof of contradiction and to be honest I haven't looked at it. Does anyone know a good website that explains it?

    Here are my notes on:
    -Average value in integration
-Constructions of root 2 and root 3
-Proof by contradiction/proof root 2 is irrational
    -Types of functions
    & more

    If anyone has
-Proving de Moivres theorem for positive and negative numbers by induction
-Using de Moivres theorem to prove trig identities

Can you please share? :) Thanks

Ah damn, I've never even seen that before, thanks aleatorio.

There are an annoying number of formal proofs hidden in the project maths course.

Do we need to know proof of Sum of a series / Sum of infinite geometric series?

hey, on your Prove root 2 is irrational postit why is it 2b^2 on the first part and then when you sub in a=2k just 2b? Im probably missing something :P
    Thanks

Derive sum to infinity, amortisation formula, 3 formal proof by inductions (1+2+...+n, 1^2+2^2+...+n^2 & 1^3+2^3+...+n^3)

Closing this zombie thread. Use the 2015 LC Maths thread. I moved your other post there.
