Hey, I'm doing some last minute study now for the junior cert English exam and I've forgot all about English paper one and the layouts/structures for the functional writing. Does anyone know any good websites or can they tell me about the layouts for the text of a flyer, or reviews/reports ?

Go to revisewise(dot)ie , click on Junior Cert, then click on English HL, then click on Exam Extra, and there should be a link for a Functional Writing guide, it looks quite helpful. It has advice and sample answers.

There is a section here that covers a lot of the functional writing that can come up!
