Just wondering when the social welfare letter informs you that you should collect your payment within three working days (collection day is Wednesday), does this exclude the collection day and Saturday. In other words, if I am due to collect the payment on Wednesday will it still be available on Monday or must it be collected by Friday.

I wouldn't wait until Monday, best pick it up as soon as you can.

Saturday (AM) is a working day for most Post Offices

You should be able to pick it up on Saturday but I would not get in the habit of it, as I was told by the girls in my Post Office that if you pick it up regularly on a Saturday you may expect a visit from the Social as it apparently flags up their end. Something to do with them thinking your working during the week and hence cannot collect you money until the weekend.
