First day of winter today. Time for the long sleeve t-shirts guys.

MUSIKHANI at 8/1 in the 2.45 Nottingham looks a very decent EW bet.

Went very close a couple of runs back under today's jockey on soft ground and has had 2 poor runs since on firmer ground which doesn't seem to suit.

Running against a sorry bunch too so won't get many better chances than this.

Like LADY MAI at 6/1 in the race after. Best run to date has come on sole run on soft ground. Plum draw and the stable is having winners.

This one requires a bit of faith but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ram them all run well in the bumper at Kilbeggan (if the rain stays away). Caught the attention of the stewards a few runs back where it was stated he will be better on good ground - he has that today, along with a hood applied. Looks a very ordinary bumper as one would expect this time of year so I'm going to give him a crack ew 16/1 in an effort to raise some beer money for the Bank Holiday. He has been backed this morning at bigger prices. Dark clouds on the horizon - if the heavens open, his chance will be gone
