Red Pepper, Yellow Pepper, Green Pepper.

What is the point of the yellow pepper in the three packs?
The red one is nice raw or cooked and the green adds flavour and texture to most dishes, but imo the yellow one is flavourless and turns sluggish under heat.
I have, nine times out of ten, thrown the yellow pepper in the compost bin as I couldn't come up with a tasty use for it before it went soft.
I stand to be corrected but I reckon the yellow pepper is a bollix

I think the yellow peppers are the nicest ones to eat raw - chopped in sandwiches or salads. I'd pick a yellow pepper over a green one any day.

My local grocers only sells loose red or green peppers. The supermarket next to it sells loose red and green peppers. Yellow peppers only appear in the 3 packs.

I actually agree with the OP and my eyes have been opened. The yellow pepper gets sliced into a salad and no one wants it or cares for it. Henceforth I will only buy loose peppers.
