Ok so my question to ye guys is what's the difference between the psychology course in UL and the psychology and sociology course in UL ? Are they the same degree ? If I was to get psychology and sociology could I continue on and become a qualified psychologist ?

Also here is my choices on my cao:
    1: UCD psychology 520 points
    2 DCU psychology 500 points
    3: UL psychology 510 points
    4: UL psychology 490 points

So If I was to get let's say 515 what's the likelihood of me gettin offered one of these courses?

Please any advice or opinions are welcomed!

Well when I was researching about Psychology months ago, here is what I found:

    1. It's best to find a course accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland as opposed to a non-accredited course.
    2. In relation to your question about becoming a qualified psychologist, I believe that lots of experience is required, along with a Postgrad degree.
    3. I was at the DCU talk and asked about points. They said that it was a lottery. Dozens of people may have the require points, but it is random who gets their place. I'm not sure about the other courses, however.

That's all I can think of at the moment!

BTW, have you looked at the two Psychology courses at Maynooth?
