zetor 2511 gear leaver problem

    Friend has a 2511 and it got stuck in gear so we removed the leaver and housing for selector sorted out the problem and put it back together now the gear leaver seems loose we were just wondering is there a spring or rubber left out somewhere ?

    There could be a loose ball or stuck spring. On top of the gearbox infront of the pto selector there's a row of bolts about an inch high it's in them that the ball and spring are to keep the gear selector in position.
