Hope to get my house repainted over the summer, weather permitting.

Wondering if there is any difference in the brands, or should any be avoided?

I was going to go with Dulux Weathershield, but I have just found the ideal colour in Leyland, wondering if that is a good paint brand?

I was looking for some Dulux Weathershield myself over the weekend but when I shopped around I found some great offers on paint, especially in white. I ended up getting Fleetwood Weatherclad in white 11 litres for €21 which is great value. It's supposed to be every bit as good as the Dulux. Shop around.

Chances are that once you get masonry paint (exterior emulsion ) you'll be grand with any brand .., you'd have to repaint (to clean up ) long before the claimed lifespan of the paint.... Just make sure your surface is sound , and wash off any mold or algae properly ...
