Hi, I'm 16 and a half, I am currently starting my Junior Cert this week, but when I'm finished I would like to take up a summer job in order to contribute and help pay my school fees.
I am hard working , I can lift heavy weights or anything necessary, I don't complain :), I can speak English, Hungarian and Romanian fluently. I can speak Spanish and German reasonably well.
I can do hard labour or easy stuff and everything in between.
I am skilled in a number of things ranging from gardening, car maintenance, cleaning, shop keeping and I'm eager to work.
In my mocks I got an A in: Maths HL , Tech . G HL, German HL, Business HL, Science HL, Geography HL and CSPE.
I got a B in: History HL and English HL.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and any offers of any type of job are welcome!

Ok just to say that if a job require manual lifting you need a Manual Handling Cert, its better if you have it in advance, its a simple 1 day course.

Drop Cvs in everywhere and ask to speak to a manager, its quite tough to find a jobs these days with so many people job hunting

    Good Luck

Even if you were trained in a gym.. you know like deadlifts, keep your back straight, use the legs? :D I'll google the course.

Also, what do you mean by "drop CV's in everywhere"? I'm not really sure where else they would accept a 16 year old in Ireland, besides like Supervalu.

Drop CVs into shops, cafes, restaurants a lot of places would hire a 16 year old

The Manual handling course is not very different to lifting weights at a gym, to be honest its very easy and common sense but its a handy cert to have (and its valid for 2 years) as I got asked if I had it in Supervalu, a lot of places will train you up in it.

Yes even if you can do this as every person involved in moving/ transporting items or people need to do it and update it every 2 yrs.

If you had it it may be of advantage to you.

You don't need one to be hired, but it will give you an advantage.

These days there are plenty of jobs out there, and there are plenty of those jobs that you would be suitable for no problem. But unfortunately there are hundreds, sometimes thousands of people looking for each one of those jobs, so it's not about how suitable you are for the job, it's about what will give you an advantage over the other people applying.

Advantages you should look to get:
    - No simple errors on your CV. So use spellcheck and format it to look nice.
    - A manual handling cert wouldn't hurt, but if you don't want to get one, mention that you're physically capable (that you train in a gym).
    - The fact that you can speak other languages is a HUGE advantage.

I think you might be too young for what they'd be looking for, but with addition languages under your belt, you should try call centres, as well as the usual summer jobs like newsagents and supermarkets.
