05 Micra k12 high idle, no fault code

    Hi as per title,

    2005 k12 micra reving high 1800 revs changed throttle body new any ideas or people with same problem?

    Nissan dealer said throttle body also they reprogramed ecu but still high idle!!!

    Dont know much about them but have you checked for a vacuam leak around the throttle body and pipes ??

    Yes changed the gasket and did spray test and ok ,
    this post is for my neighbour he's at his wits end with this! changed sensors and still no joy, any other ideas would be great thanks

    The ecu may be seeing a load on the engine and compensating for that by raising the revs.

    I'm thinking Renault here but, does this have a "smart" alternator.

    If so, try removing the two pin connector from the alternator and see if that makes a difference.
