I cancelled my sky subscription and I'm currently using the FTA channels and tuned in a few others but would I lose them if I got a saorview box?

    Moved to Terrrestrial.

The answer is no, as long as you keep the Sky box as well as the Saorview box. They are two different systems, satellite and terrestrial and they can be used together (though if your TV doesn't have the perquisite number of inputs to have both plugged in at once you may need a splitter). In the longer term, you may want to replace the Sky box with a free-to-air satellite decoder if you don't plan on going back to pay-TV. Or you can get a "combi" box that does both satellite and terrestrial.

You can get a combi box which has both saorview and fta channels on the one box

    Edit beaten to it.
