Just wondering what the average price per month to be paying for TV, phone and broadband is these days.

    Currently I pay:

TV - €18.50 - For Sky not the basic package, one step above it.

Phone - €35 - covers all phone calls, texts and 15GB data.

    Internet - €15 for 50GB allowance.

    TOTAL: €68.50 per month.

How about the rest of you lot, how much on average are you spending per month on the aforementioned services?

€32 for broadband. Work pays for most of my calls, so my phone bill is normally less than €10. Nothing for TV bar the licence.

Why do people create these threads? you see them alot more lately in After Hours.

You know, the kind of "what did you eat today?" - "How much do you weigh?" - "how much do you earn?" - "what tv sports package do you get?"

    Who cares :pac:

Have a phone for business, and operate a home office so that takes care off the home phone and broadband (about 50 for mobile and 30 for landline/broadband) .

Pay about 35 for sky, that's multiroom with everything bar movies and sports (because I have a chromecast) wink wink.

I'm in a shared house so things work out a bit cheaper.

Sky is a bit messy to explain as it's not divided equally (3 of us in the house) due to me wanting all the sports but the other housemates not.

Sky - 31 per month (full basic pack + sky sports + BT sport) it's the half price deal of 35 per month (overall) + 10 a month for BT but I pay more than 1/3.

Internet - 25 per month. 15 as my share of a 50 mb UPC pack (45 overall) and 10 euro a month for an O2 dongle on a student deal for my home house.

Phone - 35 per month for unlimited calls texts and 15Gb of data (can be 36 or 37 euro some months if I make an odd international call etc.)

Internet (shared) works out to 13 euro
Mobile 15 euro (don't top up unless credit is gone so can vary

All in all ranging from 13 to 28

87 - for UPC. That all the sport (hubby wants them), TV, landline calls, and damn fast broadband.

30 for Vodafone - unlimited calls and texts, ok virtually unlimited. I think it is 45000 of each a month, which is huge.

    Must get a Chromecast actually.

€30 - bill pay phone from VF
€25- unlimited Broadband , again Vodafone
€5 odd for American Netflix subscription.

€39 for UPC 120MB. A €20 Vodafone top up generally lasts me a month plus 250MB data. don't download anything over mobile data so its fine, never go over it!

Phone €35 a month, unlimited calls/texts with 15GB of data.

Broadband: €49.99 a month for 17MB (meant to be 24mb).

Sky Digi: €70 a year so €5 a month for every channel

    €90 quid for the lot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,350 ✭✭✭OneEightSeven

Broadband: €49.99 a month for 17MB (meant to be 24mb).

It's "up to 24mb". Copper telephone lines are affected by distance - the longer your telephone line, the slower your speed.

    Phone- 0
    Bb- 25
    Tv- 65

90 + 13 for tv licence which noone is adding in.

    Broadband and Phone = €40
    TV Licence (Saorview/FTA Satellite) = €13

    60mb unlimited UPC 14.50 pm for 6 months 37 for next 12......

29.99e for IPTV ..., all channels

    No mobile

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 556 ✭✭✭sligoface

40 per mont for 50mb unlimited BB, all sky channels but sports/movies and 150 anytime minutes to any number including mobiles/international.
This is split with one other person and its a reduced rate as we were out of contract and threatened to cancel.

Between webtext, viber and the 150 mins on the landline I rarely top up my mobile at all, a fiver a month will do me. I live in town so plenty of free wifi about.

    So 25 per month.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

TV - free (bar the licence 13 euro PM)
Phone - PAYG mobile - hardly anything
    Internet - about 25 PM

My parents use about 3Gb a month I reckon, even with a few of us calling home for weekends regularly we rarely exceed 15Gb.

    Hmm, let me see
work pays for phone and internet and I don't bother with sky or chorus so nothing.
