    Hi there,
I'm a newbie here so hope I'm posting this in the right place.
I recently got PP for an 45sq m extension to the back of our house and it's almost finished construction. I would like to get a small (13 sqm) garden shed built in the back garden while the builders are still onsite and before we fix up the back garden.
Do I need Planning for shed as it was not included in the application for the extension.

thanks in advance for you advice.

I'm nearly sure, the exempted shed rules are separate to the house area. So you can extend the house and then the shed construction falls under a different rule so you can still build the 13m2 shed aslong as you can meet the exempted criteria with regards to height and remaining private open space.

Depends on conditions on pp and original pp for house also remaining open space, best to ring your local planning office and speak to area planner.
