    Hi All

Recently bought and refurbed a house and i want to get the tv setup decided on. My plan is to go with saorview and freesat.

All the rooms are wired for TV.

What are my best options to go with. I'm not too rushed on the bedrooms at the moment but there are two living rooms i would like to start with.

Will obviously need a saorview aerial and dish to start. Then combo boxes, have seen the amiko alien 2 mentioned alot.

Hopefully also going to get TV's with wifi to connect to the web.

Would love to hear some ideas/suggestions.

    thanks

    how old are your TV's?

if they have a saorview tuner stick with that a buy a freesat box for your uk channels.

main living room humax hdr 1010s 1tb with wifi second living room regular freesat box either manhatten hd s2 or the humax freetime.

However given that you are starting from scratch why not a multi sat set up 90cm dish with astra 28 and 19 and hotbird 13..............but that's another story.

New TVs will have Saorview built in so will need an outside aerial with a passive splitter for how ever many ways you want (an amplifier is not necessary in Dublin). For Freesat you need a dish with a quad or octo LNB (depending on how many outlets you want) and a quick drive up north to buy the required number of Freesat receivers.
