I know that the forum is primarily distance based but is there any interest in setting up a decathlonesque challenge? It might help to stir up a bit more interest, even if the results are further down on what the pros can achieve. It might help to stir up a bit more interest, even if the results are further down on what the pros can achieve. I'm not sure what the graded officials position is to folk who are not quite gifted (high jump or pole vault spring to mind). Any other ideas for events?

You can write your pros and cons for each event:

High jump - getting over the bar
Long jump
Shot putt - its heavy
Discus - technique, killing someone
Javelin - technique, killing someone
100 m
200 m
110 m Hurdles - getting over them, killing yourself
400 m Hurdles
Steeplechase - ah yeah, getting wet or going for a swim
