    Hi

I am thinking of setting up a repair business and want to know what would be the cost. How much do I need to pay for OS licenses and other software. Do I need any insurance?

I'd imagine any repair buisness would need insurance.

You'd need insurance, and if you didn't know the cost of OS's, you're in the wrong business.

The OP would need to set up a Microsoft reseller account.

Truthfully think long and hard before going into the sector. It's a lot of hard work trying to find the customers to keep the business going.

I wouldn't be too worried about the OS's, they probably won't be your bread and butter as people don't often actually upgrade their OS. Getting good quality hardware replacements at a cheap enough price, that you can make a markup on will be much more important.
