    Hi,

Has anyone any experience of shipping a boxed up bike from UK back here.
Can you recommend a company or give an indication of what it would cost, roughly speaking.

    Thanks in advance

DX do runs to the UK alot, expensive but if you ring them and agree to meet them and the box there picking up is near a run they are already doing, they can be negotiated down.

Sail and rail for 80euro is another option if you have a day to get it yourself.

There is another company whose name I forget but you put the job up on their site and couriers bid for it or offer you prices. My boss has used them so will try and find out later.

Try Paisley Freight , they will pick up a boxed bike anywhere in the UK and have it dropped to your door. The last time I used them, a couple of years ago, it was 30 euro . It may be more now.

Thats a great price if you even get close to it.

Deliver It based out in Meath quoted me 45 euro and said they could do it in three days. Bike i was looking at bringing over fell through so can't recommend as such.
