Hi everybody, I used to have a lovely E200 2003 till last year. I sold it cause I was going to spend 3 years abroad, now back...
I am now looking to buy another one. Overall my experience was great, although I had to replace the timing chain which was very expensive.

I went to a some garages couple of days ago, I saw three, one seems to be nice although I do have a strange feeling, so not sure if I will go for it. It apparead as malfunction something like the malfunction system was off. The guy told me was cause of the low battery (as it has not been used much in last few weeks).
The other two mercedes, not good at one (one was 2005 version and it was a taxi).

Tomorrow I will see a couple of merc more, from private. One seems to be very good (only 78,000 miles and full service history). But I do not think they changed the timing chain.
Is there anything in particular that I should be looking at while driving it? Is there any way to check real miles (other than of course the cartell report).

    Thanks a lot!
