Location of wheelchair roof box

Hi folks

I am a wheelchair user and I'm about to learn how to drive. I have seen the roof boxes that wheelchairs can fold up into. Does anybody know how much this costs and where I can get it. I also want to find how much it is to get a car adapted and where I can get that done?

If you are a member of the Irish Wheelchair Association their magazine is called Spokeout which you will receive four of a year. It contains lots of ads from companies who do the kind of work that you are interested in.

I am a member of IWA and I get the spokeout magazines. I have never seen an ad like it in them

Your best bet is to contact at least two or three adaptation experts who are on the approved list ..... information here ....

You should discuss your exact requirements with them ..... including type, size, weight etc of wheelchair and any other requirements you might have.

The more information they have the better they can judge what suits best.

Do they not have adverts for companies that do vehicle conversions for disabled people.
