    Hi All,

Im going to do my masters in DIT, Cathal Brugha Street, Dublin 1 and Im looking for a two bed apartment to rent. As I don't know much about Dublin, I'd like to ask your advises here. I have two kids currently in primary school and I'd like to rent in a family friendly areas with schools near by. I don't mind if it's not the city center as long as the public transport is good. Any suggestions where I should be looking at? Im very appreciated if anyone can give me any suggestions.

    Kind Regards
    Lix

Thank you for your reply, Spear. I did have a look at the students accommodation, but I have two minors with me and I don't want to share rooms or stay in the campus accommodation. I'd like to rent from a private landlord and also looked some websites. I don't really know areas in Dublin that well and don't know where to look. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Anywhere in Dublin 1 would be in walking distance. A lot of Dublin 2 would be in walking distance too. Place and Marino would be about 3km from O connell street and managable too. Worse case €1.45 on the leap. Daft.ie also has a college search that will allow you to search within a certain distance of the campus you specify.

Thank you for your reply, Greenmachine. The city center is not a bit rough for the kids? Are there good schools in Dublin 1? I don't mind move further from the the city center, its just lots to consider with children. I will have a look at Daft.ie again.
