I just downloaded the new plaid album and I'm in love with electronica again. Problem is I'm out of touch with what's good these days...
Can anyone recommend newer artists making really good electronica currently?
I have a lot of warp records older stuff, would love if someone could point me in the direction of some similar stuff I mightn't know?

    Boxcutter
    Leafcutter John
    Nic TVG
    ASC

...have all done enjoyable albums in recent-enough times. Burial mightn't count as "electronica" but if you haven't been listening since older Warp things and you're genuinely out of touch for half a decade or so then you should really get acquainted.

Andy Stott, Luxury Problems is an excellent album that's well worth a listen to. I just discovered it recently. Will sound lovely on your snazzy new headphones!

Haven't gotten to listen to everything yet but so far blown away by Asc stuff, some reminds me of LFO, really like Com Truise..don't know what to make of Luxury Problems, its a bit deranged or something, makes me feel like I'm in a bunker for techno-schizophrenics if that
makes any sense!!..but in a good way ha
Having a ball listening to all this, thanks so much

A few more I'd add to the thread, the below list mostly chosen as I've only recently loaded them to my MP3 player...

    Frank Bretscheider - Super.Trigger
    Proem - Socially Inept
    Lackluster - Showcase
Bochum Welt - Good Programs (To Be Coloured in Yellow)
    D'Arcangelo - Audiovisual Designs
    Thomas P. Heckmann - The Lost Tales (Vol 1, 2 & 3)
    Minilogue - Blomma
    John Talabot - Fin
Donato Dozzy - K and 'Voices from the Lake' (but I'd go for K first...)
