The house is about 60 years old and the roof is tiled, the felt whats left of it is split and in some cases pulled away.

How do I go about re felting the roof, is it easy to re felt with out removing the tiles and re roofing?

doing this at the moment: remove tiles, expect to replace the rear half, double treated battens & breathable felt is the way to go, dont forget the vents & H&S proper scaffolding etc

There is an attic conversion of sorts in place but looks like the builder took cuts, many years ago, felt being one of them.

Length is 7m, height 2.7m, width 8m, estimated.

    Any ideas and costs appreciated.
