PZ 165 problem

Hey Guys, bought a second-hand PZ 165 drum mower last year for topping rushes etc. It has been working fine until recently.

I wouldn't have much experience with machinery but when the mower is at the usual cutting height, the farther out drum is cutting into the ground and literally ripping up the turf, while the inside drum is much higher and barely touching the sward.

Is there some adjustment i'm missing here? I feel it's something simple. I have looked through the manual to no avail. Any advice/help appreciated

Have you flipped the transport bar out ? Sounds like that might be your problem not allowing the drums to level on the ground!!

Yeah that's the one. It's would lock the mower in the position you describe.
Are you letting the mower down enough with the lift so it's level.

Yea was thinking that was the problem, although when I bring it down level or what appears to be level, im still having the same problem?

Getting a fela to have a look at it tomorrow anyway to see can he figure it out. Sound for the advice!
